Spring Trip 2018

PHOTOS IN PROCESS OF BEING ADDED

For our Spring Trip this year I have arranged a private tour of the house and garden of Boconnoc, near Lostwithiel. Many of you will know of this lovely house as this is where Cornwall Spring Flower Show hold their annual event and you may have seen a few rooms in the house.

We have been very fortunate to be given the opportunity of a private tour with Guides and I am sure you will agree it will be an chance not to be missed.

We will leave Asda, Penryn at 9.30 a.m. on Saturday 24th March 2018 (Asda have kindly agreed for us to leave our cars in their carpark as long as they are parked in the parking area away from the store.) We will travel to Boconnoc and, after coffee/tea, we will be given a guided tour of the house and gardens followed by a light lunch. Boconnoc has a fascinating history and there is plenty to see and, at this time of the year, the gardens should look magnificent with their spring blooms.

As Keith explained on Saturday, we do have some money in the Ambassadors' funds and it has been agreed that this could fund the cost of the coach, with non-Ambassadors paying a little more.

The cost, which includes coach travel, coffee/tea on arrival, a light lunch and a guided tour of the house and gardens will be £26 per Ambassador and £30 per person for family and friends.

Please let me know if you would like to come along, your spouses/partners, relatives and friends are most welcome. I will be taking names and money at the next Ambassadors Meeting at the Maritime Museum on Saturday 10th February 2018. You can pay by:

cash; cheque (made out to FCSA) or; electronic banking to: FCSA - Sort Code 40-21-02, Account No. 21487264.

The very latest you will be able to book will be Tuesday 6th March.

Please contact me if I have not covered everything, you can reach me at [email protected] or 01326 372192.

I do hope you will be able to come along, it should be a brilliant trip, so sign up now and have a wonderful day out with all your friends.

Best wishes.
